8:00 AM - Hotel Pickup & Transfer to Cu Chi
Your VTS tour guide will meet you at your hotel and depart for Cu Chi District. As you leave Ho Chi Minh City, the urban landscape gives way to rice fields, rural homes, and locals drying noodles along the roadside - offering a glimpse into daily life in Southern Vietnam.
Cu Chi Tunnels Exploration
Upon arrival, begin your visit to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels. This impressive underground network was built and used by the Viet Cong during both the French and American wars.
You will explore either the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnels. Highlights include:
- Authentic guerrilla hideouts and passageways
- Displays of weapons such as Russian carbines and AK-47s
- Trapdoor and mantrap demonstrations used against enemy forces
Optional: You may try shooting at the firing range (at your own expense)
Around midday, you return to Ho Chi Minh City.

After lunch, your journey continues with a guided visit to Ho Chi Minh City's most iconic landmarks:
Reunification Palace
A historic site where the Vietnam War ended on April 30, 1975, when a North Vietnamese tank crashed through its gate. Formerly the residence of the President of South Vietnam.
Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office
Admire two of Saigon’s architectural masterpieces, located in the heart of the city, surrounded by bustling Dong Khoi Street, the Opera House, and the People’s Committee Building - perfect for photography.
Thien Hau Pagoda (Chinatown - Cholon)
Dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea, this 18th-century pagoda features intricate carvings, artistic ceramic friezes, and breathtaking hanging incense coils.
Ben Thanh Market
The day ends with a visit to the city’s most famous market. Originating in the 17th century and rebuilt several times, Ben Thanh is now Saigon’s oldest and busiest marketplace. It’s a great spot for souvenirs, local snacks, handicrafts, and fashion items.
