Overview:

Sapa is well known for its fresh air, cool climate, panoramic mountain views, and rich culture of ethnic minority groups. This 2-day, 1-night easy trekking tour offers a perfect opportunity to explore Sapa’s natural beauty and traditional village life, without needing extensive hiking experience.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai (L, D)

06:45 - 07:15: Our bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or designated location on the Hanoi - Lao Cai Expressway.

Enjoy a scenic journey to Sapa as the morning sun highlights terraced rice fields, mist-covered mountains, and picturesque countryside. A short break will be provided along the way.

13:00: Arrival in Sapa. Lunch served at the hotel.

Afternoon: Begin your trek to Cat Cat Village, home of the Black H’Mong ethnic group. Explore the village, visit a beautiful waterfall, and see the remnants of a colonial French hydroelectric power station.

Continue trekking another 6 km to Sin Chai Village, located at the base of Mount Fansipan, the tallest mountain in Vietnam and Indochina.

Enjoy the panoramic landscape before returning to Sapa town. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own.

Dinner and overnight stay at hotel or homestay.

Day 2: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Hanoi (B, L, D)

After breakfast, check out and leave your luggage at the hotel. Begin an easy trek to Lao Chai Village, inhabited by the Black H’Mong and Tay people.

Continue walking along the floor of the Muong Hoa Valley to reach Ta Van Village, home to the friendly Dzay minority people.

Enjoy lunch with a Dzay family, a chance to experience authentic home-cooked cuisine and warm local hospitality.

In the afternoon, return to Sapa by motorbike or jeep, freshen up with a shower at the hotel.

16:30: Early dinner served at the hotel.

17:00: Board the sleeper bus back to Hanoi.

22:00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of tour.
