ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Trang An
08:00 AM: Your VTS guide and driver will pick you up for a scenic 100 km drive south to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of the Dinh and Le dynasties (10th-11th centuries). The remnants of temples and citadels, now partly reclaimed by lush greenery, create a mystical and historic setting.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to nearby Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage site often called “Halong Bay on Land.”
Here, you’ll board a traditional sampan boat and gently cruise along the Trang An River, passing through caves, karst formations, emerald waters, and peaceful rice paddies. Wildlife and birds flourish in this untouched landscape - perfect for photography and quiet reflection.
In the late afternoon, transfer to a simple but authentic local homestay for dinner and rest.
Overnight at homestay.
Day 2: Trang An - Cuc Phuong National Park - Hanoi
After breakfast, depart around 9:00 AM for Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam’s oldest national park and a pristine tropical rainforest.

- Light trekking and wildlife spotting (insects, reptiles, and birds)
